| The youth hostel «Gjáargarður» is a newer building in the village of Gjógv. The top floor is arranged like the old Faroese houses, with a «Roykstova» combined kitchen and family room, and box beds. (Very suitable for groups of young people). Besides these are 10 family rooms. |

The youth hostel is also suitable for disabled persons, with easy access for wheelchairs to use all 4 floors. When arriving at Gjógv, the youth hostel will be the first building you can see, easily recognisable with its grass-grown roof, and prominent position in the village. |
