Atlantis, The Palm will open this September 2008 as the flagship resort on The Palm Jumeirah – the first resort to open its doors on Dubai’s revolutionary island. Created by Kerzner International Holdings Limited, a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts, the stunning new 1,539-room resort began accepting reservations February 1, 2008.

Atlantis, The Palm is a 1,539 room, ocean-themed destination resort located at the centre of the crescent of the man-made Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The resort will utilise the 46 hectares site with 17 hectares of water park amusement, further marine and entertainment attractions and a collection of some of the most renowned world-class chefs including Nobu, Giorgio Locatelli, Santi Santamaria and Michel Rostang. Twenty fresh and seawater exhibits surround the submerged ‘City of Atlantis’. Visitors pass through sunken rooms – the Generator Room, the Navigation Room, the Workshop and many more – filled with the detailed remnants of Atlantean life.

Moving through the chambers, guests travel on a fascinating journey in this underwater world. In the gigantic Ambassador Lagoon, over 65,000 fish swim through sunken treasures where sharks and manta rays glide gracefully.
